After an attempt at marketing the watching of these dinosaurs goes dreadfully bad, all the animals are killed and the island closed. The problem is that something has survived.

Alien Nation – Aliens are coming to Earth. It is an orderly integration. With the aliens here, a new form of racism is building. The first alien policeman must work through this racism with his partner. They then gain respect for each other and set out to fight crime in the underworld of the alien world.

Sgt. Bilko – An army comedy with Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd and Phil Hartman. Sgt Bilko does basically everything but army duties with his platoon of soldiers. Life in Sgt. Bilko’s army is quite nice. That is until Major Thorn shows up and attempts to destroy the fun.

Soup for One – Intermittently triumphing although choppy presentation of solo New Yorker Rubinek looking for his dream gal. Cast includes Saul Rubinek, Marcia Strassman, Gerrit Graham, Teddy Pendergrass, Richard Libertini, Andrea Martin, and Lewis J. Stadlen. (87 minutes, 1982)

Across llOth Street – Barry Shear handled the directing for this film. Three black men, disguised as cops have robbed the mob bank out of over $250,000. Now the policemen and the mafia are in a contest to capture the thieves, and salvage the money. The stars include Anthony Quinn, Yaphet Kotto, Anthony Franciosa, Richard Ward, and Paul Benjannin. All About My Mother – While a lady loses her kid, she goes back to Barcelona, renews a concealed kinship with a transvestite buddy, who unwittingly the youngster’s father. Pedro Almodovar directed this movie and it is his most heartrending motion picture to date-more grave than most, although not without his trademark humor and differentiated by wonderful behaviors all around. Cast includes Cecilia Roth, Marisa Paredes, Penelope Cruz, Antonia San Juan, Candela Pena, and Eloy Azorin. (101 minutes, 1999)

Macabre – Extraordinary goings on in smaIl town where a physician’s young daughter inexplicably disappears and a nameless phone caller declares that the kid has been buried alive. Cast includes William Prince, Jim Backus, Christine White, and Jacqueline Scott. (73 minutes, 1958)

Dillinger – Unintelligent gangster motion picture written by Philip Jordan, one of the best B films of its sort although a key bank robbery is made up of stock footage lifted from Fritz Lang’s You Only Live Once. Cast includes Edmund Lowe, Anne Jeffreys, Lawrence Tierney, Eduardo Ciannelli, Elisha Cook, and Marc Lawrence. (70 minutes, 1945)

Good to Go – Unremarkable fare in reference to correspondent Garfunkel, who’s framed on a rape-slaughter charge. Highlighted are the behaviors of such go-go groups as Redds & the Boys, Trouble Funk, Get rid of Brown & the Mind Scavengers, amid others. Cast includes Art Garfunkel, Robert Doqui, Harris Yulin, Reginald Daughtry, Richard Brooks, Hattie Winston, and Anjelica Huston. (87 minutes, 1986)
