2. Make sure that your sleeping position is conducive to sleeping. There are times when your pillows are not in condition to keep your head properly aligned when sleeping. This would not cause snoring and is actually a good thing. This is because this position would keep you from breathing through the mouth. Also, lying flat on your back would more likely cause snoring. Make sure that you sleep on your side and twist and turn as necessary in order to prevent snoring.
