Plain-City, Ohio based Ohio Laser purchased a 6000 Watt Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system that now handles stainless steel as thick as 1 inch, aluminum as thick as 5/8 inches, and remarkably, carbon steel as thick as 1 inch. This ultra modern laser cutting technology processes at simultaneous speeds of up to 11811 inches each minute and can run at super fast axially parallel speeds of up to 7874 inches per minute.
The Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system now makes industrial laser cutting of metal possible using sheets up to 80 x 160 inches that weigh as much as 3968 pounds, allowing for the production of longer and wider parts.
Additionally, the TruLaser 5040 laser cutting machine features self-loading and unloading capabilities that reduce fabrication time, increase output and improve margins.
